How to work with Graphics Select tool

To work with Graphics Select tool

  1. Graphics select tool is used to select an area on a page to print.

  2. To print a specify area of your document, you have to select the Graphics Select tool, and drag on the page to draw the area you want.

  3. Drag a rectangle around the graphic you want to copy.

  4. To deselect the graphic and start over, click anywhere outside the selected graphic.

  5. After that you have to choose the Edit tab from the menu bar and select Copy to copy the graphic to the Clipboard.

  6. To view the graphic, choose the Window menu and click Show Clipboard. The graphic is copied using the WMF (Windows) or PICT (Mac OS) format.

  7. However, you can also use this command to copy sentences or words.
