To add Security to PDF Files

You can limit access to all PDF files by inserting passwords and restricting certain features such as printing and editing.

A PDF file can have an open document password and a change security settings password.

  1. First, you have to choose the Settings tab from the menu bar and select Security.

  2. And then enter a password.

  3. Select options to prevent users from printing, changing the document, selecting text and graphics, or adding or changing notes and form fields.

  4. And then click o the Save button.

  5. To save the changes as a different job options file and make that the new job options file, click Save As.

One other option which I recently came to know is digital signature. We can add digital signatures too to add security to PDF files.
