To work with Annotation

The Acrobat annotation tools allow you to mark up text and attaching notes and commentaries to PDF documents. These annotations can be in text, graphic, or audio format; you can even attach external files if you like.

1. To show the Annotation palette, you have to click the Show/Hide Navigation Pane button to display the navigation pane, and then click the Annotations tab to bring the palette to the front.
   

2. After that select the Scan Annotations button as shown by the picture below on the status bar, or choose Rescan Document from the palette menu to display a list of annotations in the document.
